2 ) What do I need to do to get started?
Call us at 207-636-5700 and we will arrange for one of our representatives to speak with you about your needs and answer your questions.
3 ) What happens to our material after it is shredded?
The shredded paper, cut to 5/16 inch strips and merged with paper from other customers for additional anonymity, is transferred to a domestic recycler and made into new paper.
4 ) What proof do I have that my material has been destroyed?
We will provide you with a certificate of destruction for each pick up from your business that documents the date and method of destruction.
5 ) What are the environmental benefits of document destruction?
Each ton of recycled paper saves:
- 17 trees
- 7000 gallons of water
- 100 gallons of oil
- 4000+ kilowatts of electricity
- 3 cubic yards of landfill space
6 ) How much will this cost?
The cost of shredding your documents is determined by the volume of material that you have and the frequency of pick that is required. We want to understand what your needs are and then we can talk with you about solutions and costs. Depending on what works for you, we can provide a fixed cost so that you always know what your cost is and can plan accordingly.
7 ) Do you charge for containers?
No. Use of our containers is included in the regular scheduled service.
